When Covid closed our restaurant, we (Ryan & Daniella) started a bakery. It started off small, just baking a few loafs of sourdough for the neighbors. As word spread about our story Bernal Bakery was soon up to its neck in orders! We expanded our menu to offer sourdough cinnamon rolls, brown butter chocolate chip cookies and a seasonal crumb cake. Today, Bernal Bakery is operating at full speed out of a local commissary kitchen serving farmer's markets and local stores. And you can always find us on Cortland at our new cafe Bernal Basket (521 Cortland Ave.) — can’t wait to see you there!
